Mali teaches the harp and the piano at Hill House International School in London, and privately.

Mali’s students have won many scholarships and prizes, including:

  • Catherine passed Grade 8 harp with Distinction - June 2024

  • Ted passed Initial Grade Piano with Distinction - July 2023

  • Catherine passed Grade 7 Harp with Distinction and an extremely high mark of 147/150! (December 2022)

  • Bella was offered a place to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Junior Department from September - piano (2022)

  • Henry was awarded a music scholarship by Dulwich College - piano (February 2022)

  • Sebastian passed Grade 5 piano with Distinction (March 2021)

  • Zihan passed Grade 8 piano with Merit at 14 years old (January 2021)

  • Bella passed Grade 5 Theory with Distinction at 8 years old (November 2020)

  • Allegra passed Grade 1 piano with Distinction (November 2020)

  • Oliver passed Grade 2 piano with Distinction (November 2020)

  • Catherine was awarded the Music Cup at Hill House School - Harp (September 2020)

  • Farrah was offered a place to study harp and piano at Purcell School from September (2020)

  • Farrah passed her Grade 5 Music Theory exam with Distinction (April 2020)

  • Between 2018 and 2019, all of Mali’s students passed their ABRSM exams, 80% with Distinction

  • Catherine won a music scholarship to Putney High School on the Harp (February 2020)

  • Sebastian was the runner up in the Rowe Cup competition, Rokeby School (January 2020)

  • Catherine, Farrah and Angelica won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively at the North London Festival of Music Harp Competition - Grades 5-6 and 1-2 (May 2019)

  • Ethan won 3rd Prize at the North London Festival of Music Piano competition (2019)

  • Portia was accepted as a harpist on the Interlochen Arts Camp, USA (Summer 2019)

  • Zihan won 1st Prize in the Blackheath Music Festival Piano competition for Grade 5 level (2018)

  • Bella won 1st Prize in the Blackheath Music Festival Piano competition for Grade 1 level (2018)

  • Catherine and Portia won 1st and 3rd Prizes respectively at the North London Festival of Music Harp competition - Grades 3-4 (2018)

  • Ani was accepted to the Royal College of Music Junior Department (2017)

  • Zihan was offered a place at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College as a result of a music audition (2017)

  • Zihan won 1st prize in the North London Festival of Music Piano Competition for ages 10 and under (May 2017)

  • Bella won 2nd prize in the North London Festival of Music Piano Competition for ages 5 and under (May 2017)

  • Catherine won 2nd prize in the North London Festival of Music Harp Competition - Grades 1-2 (May 2017)

Mali has prepared actors for their roles as musicians in films including Himesh Patel (for the Danny Boyle film Yesterday, 2019), Stacy Martin (for Vox Lux, 2018) and Jonah Hauer-King and Annes Elwy (for Little Women, 2017).
